Although Toronto was home for over half her life, Winnipeg and Bird's Hill were always dear to her heart. She loved to talk about happy times spent with her brothers and sisters and was always pleased when her daughters would share news from the cousins out West. Mary was a positive, friendly person who was known to speak to anybody and to love everyone. She was a sweet lady, full of life . She loved her family dearly and they will miss her loving heart. May they find comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and finally at rest. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2009 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Rexdale, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
