MARGARET REIMER January 10, 1933 - November 6, 2009 Peacefully, with family by her side, Margaret Reimer went to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 6 at 6:45 p.m. Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 48 years, Garnet Reimer; two sons, Perry (Marina) and Marlin (Leanne); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jackson and Sydni; two brothers and their families: Ike (Maria) Giesbrecht and Ben (Nina) Giesbrecht; and one sister with whom she was especially close: Anne (Peter) Kehler, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Abraham and Anna B. Giesbrecht, two sisters and six brothers. Margaret was born in Pansy, MB and was baptized in 1952 upon confession of her faith. Subsequently, became a member of the Steinbach EMB Church (now Cornerstone Bible Church) where her and Garnet were married and became actively involved. Milestones that shaped Margaret's life were working 30 years at Pete's Inn followed by a 23 year career in real estate. Margaret served selflessly in the church kitchen doing what she loved best, cooking food. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Minnaar, Dr. Bschouty and many health care workers, friends and family for their compassion and care. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Bible Church, 290 First St., Steinbach, with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
