FREDERICK JAMES STEWART Peacefully, with his family by his side, Fred passed away on November 8, 2009. He was 78 years young. Fred is survived by his loving sister Margaret Stewart, numerous nieces, nephews, their families and his cherished dog Molly. He was predeceased by his brother Bill Stewart, his dear friend and brother-in-law Bill Balyk and his sisters Isabelle Dunthorne, Mona Kowk and Agnes Balyk. Fred was born in Winnipeg on September 26, 1931. Besides working for Park Davis he was an avid sportsman. Bowling, curling and golf were some of his favourites. He also coached various sports teams but his best lessons were about life. Patience was his middle name. His numerous hobbies would attest to this. His determination and perseverance allowed him to battle cancer for over the past 15 years. Our hearts are full of love and thanks for all the lessons, memories and love he has shown to us all. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main Street. 586-8044
