ROB ROUGHLEY Professor Rob Roughley passed away suddenly on November 9, 2009. Born Robert Edward Roughley in Guelph, Ontario in 1950, he was the youngest son of Jack and Ada Roughley. He was predeceased by his mother, father and elder brother David. He leaves behind his loving wife Pearl, daughters Amy (Mike), Kate (Blake), son Keegan and stepsons Ryan and Chad as well as his grandchildren Nicholas and Maxwell. Dad worked at the University of Manitoba for over 25 years, as a Professor of Entomology. Dad touched the lives of many scientists, students and fellow professors with his love of science and his zest for life. Not to mention the unconditional love he provided for his family and anyone who had the honour of knowing him. In keeping with Dad's wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at Voyage Funeral Home at 1531 Pembina Hwy., Friday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in support of the JB Wallis Museum of Entomology, University of Manitoba.
