YVONNE CLARKE On November 8, 2009 at the Riverview Health Centre, Yvonne Clarke, aged 86 years passed away. Yvonne was predeceased by her beloved husband Isaac on October 7, 1990. She was also predeceased by her father Alfons Van Hoof, mother Stefania Van Hoof, sisters Elsa and Adriana Van Hoof and brother Leon Van Hoof all of Belgium. She is survived by her sister Georgette Van Den Bruel and brothers Florent Van Hoof, Jozef Van Hoof, Andre Van Hoof and Emiel Van Hoof all of Belgium. Yvonne was born in Itegem, Belgium on January 14, 1923. She met her husband Isaac while he was serving Canada during the Second World War in Belgium. They were married on December 20, 1945 in Belgium. Yvonne was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 7 on Regent Avenue where she was an avid carpet bowler. She was employed as a waitress by Eaton's. Funeral service is on Friday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Rev. John Melnyk officiating. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. 586-8044
