Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER KROPELNICKI Peacefully, after a lengthy illness on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Walter Kropelnicki, aged 87 years of Selkirk passed away. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Mary; a brother John as well as a niece and nephew in the Ukraine. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister and his first wife Ann. Walter was born in Mariampol, Ukraine on April 4, 1922 and came to Canada in 1948. He owned and operated the Dinette Restaurant in Selkirk for 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was a faithful member of the Holy Eucharist Church and sang in the choir. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church with Father Peter Chorney officiating.
