DIANE LORRAINE FLORENCE MARIE ADAMSON (nee PRETEAU) It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Diane, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the age of 60 years. Remaining to forever cherish Diane's memory are her husband of 38 years, Thomas; son Jason; daughter Janice and grandchildren Alexea, Kerryssa, Cameron, Zachary and Ashton. She will be sadly missed by her mother Leona; sisters Louise (Dick), Edmée (Roy), brothers Richard (Shirlee), Reynald (Alida), Guy (Jocelyne); sisters-in-law Judy, Bonnie and brothers-in-law Barney and Joe Adamson, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Alphonse, brothers Roger, Claude, grandson Evan and sister-in-law, Gwen Adamson. Diane was born in Steinbach on July 21, 1949 and was raised in Vassar, MB. She married her beloved Thomas on March 27, 1971. They resided and raised their children in Winnipeg. As a family they had the opportunity to travel to various places throughout the world. Mom also enjoyed baking and could often be found doing puzzles, playing cards and for many years enjoyed working in ceramics. Tireless mother and devoted wife, she leaves behind many cherished family members and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sacré Coeur de Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Vassar, Manitoba.
