CARTER ALEXANDER COREY LINKLATER Misko-Giizhig-Red Sky Noodin-Kiwizens-Windy Boy Wambdi-Hokshida-Eagle Boy Peacefully, surrounded by family, on November 11, 2009 at the St. Boniface Hospital Carter, beloved son of Jackie and Scott, passed away at 13 days old. Wake will be held at the home of Velma and Brian Fontaine, 328A Northshore Rd. on the Sagkeeng First Nation. Funeral Service will be held at the Fort Alexander Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Malachy officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Carter was born on October 30, 2009 and in his short time here he has touched many lives. Carter fought a hard and courageous battle to stay with mom and dad, but the Creator called him home. Carter was predeceased by his uncle Corey, his auntie Laura, his great-grandfathers, and great-grandmothers. He leaves to mourn his passing his mother and father Jackie and Scott, brothers Dillan and Tyler, sister Jordyn, grandparents Joyce and Roger, Doreen and Derwyn, great-grandparents Jan, Dora, Guy and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Active Pallbearers are Terry and Kevin Pepin, Justin Linklater and Vidal Bruyere. Honorary Pallbearers are his siblings and cousins. Carter's family would like to thank the nurses at the N.I.C.U. St. Boniface Hospital and to Uncle Ken for all your support. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Carter's name to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital.
