MURIEL LILLIAN SCHULTZ February 3, 1917 - November 9, 2009 With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother, at Calvary Place Personal Care Home at the age of 92 years; Muriel was born in Winnipeg on February 3, 1917 daughter of David and Susan Gallaugher. Muriel is survived by her loving children and leaves to cherish and love her memories: sons Norman and wife (Grace), George and wife (Faye Weinstein), grandchildren David Schultz and wife (Vicki) and Daena Schultz and great-grandchild Cody; sisters Jean Croft (Geoff) and Betty Jamieson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Norman G. Schultz and son James E. Schultz. Mom was a true testament to the word love having married her childhood sweetheart and going through 70 years of a wonderful marriage; she was a loving caring person with a smile on her face and an attitude to light up the darkest room; her actions were thoughtful, generous, considerate and a good friend to all. Her life as a devoted wife and caring mother are guidelines to live by. Mom's love of music and singing at Calvary were well known, she was always willing to help and get involved with any functions related to Calvary and started their bingo program and sat on their board to speak on the residents behalf. Mom's time with Dad is one out of a story book as their love for each other never faded and took them on vacations through Canada (Victoria, Banff) and the U.S. especially Hawaii. During her life mom had been a member of the Eastern Star and had worked a job at Canadian Publishers and Eaton's. Cremation has taken place. In accordance with mom's wishes, a small service will take place at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 14 at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin Street. Flowers are gratefully accepted should friends so desire, or donations may be made to the Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 3R6. Our family would like to acknowledge and extend sincere thanks and appreciation to the main floor staff at Calvary Place for their dedication and compassion in caring for mom during her over nine year stay. May God Bless You All Mom You will be forever missed, But your memory will never be Forgotten. Love from us all AND IN THE END, THE LOVE YOU TAKE IS EQUAL TO THE LOVE YOU MAKE NEIL BARDAL INC. 204-949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
