LOUIS ARNAL It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Arnal in Repentigny, Quebec on November 2, 2009. Louis will be missed and forever remembered by his wife Melanie, his daughter Louise (Thorsten) and his granddaughter Madison; Melanie's sons Martin (Sylvie), Frank (Chantal) Duchesne and their daughters, Emilie, Sonia, Elodie and Sandrine. He is also survived by his siblings Helene, Lilianne, Irene, Rita, Vincent, Rene, Lorraine and Richard. He was predeceased by his parents Almir and Bertha; siblings, Gertrude, Denise, Beatrice, Clara, Florence, Alfred, Leo and Jules. Louis was born on August 22, 1931. He grew up on the family farm in Fannystelle, Manitoba. He left Manitoba for work in Quebec in 1967. His career was spent working with natural gas pipelines. Over the years his work brought him across Canada, the United States and Brazil. Louis was the happiest when on the job . He felt very fortunate that he was able to continue working until the age of 77. His passion was his work, his pride his family. A celebration of Louis' life and reception was held on November 5, 2009 in Quebec. At Louis' request there will be a private interment in Fannystelle, Manitoba. Louis' courage and strength over the past months have been an inspiration. Rest well Dad.
