VIOLA GLADYS CRUICKSHANK (nee Deitz ) Gladys passed away on November 8, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Ken in 1999, Gladys is lovingly remembered by sons Brian (Lori), Ron (Catherine), Kenny (Lori), and grandchildren Justina, Kristin, Kayla, Adam, Kyle, Sean and Elizabeth. Sadly missed by brothers, Herman, Gordon, Edwin (Corrine) and Richard (Donna) whom she raised. Gladys was also predeceased by her beloved daughter Gail. Gladys was born in Winnipeg on July 9, 1923. She worked for many years at Eaton's and later at the Free Press, retiring at age 62. Gladys was a vibrant person who loved time with family and her many dear friends. Her pastimes included bingo, Lion's Club activities, and relaxing at West Hawk Lake and Winnipeg Beach. At her request, cremation and a family memorial service have already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a charity of your choice. We love you, Mom, and will miss your cheerful ways. My happy life has truly passed I loved you all to the very last Weep not for me, but courage take And love each other for my sake.
