MILDRED VICTORIA GUILBAULT (nee Eyolfson) March 14, 1934 - November 11, 2009 Mildred left this earth for eternal peace on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Mom was predeceased by her husband Roger and brother Gerald Eyolfson. Left to cherish Mildred's memory are her three children, Christine (Don) Kurlowich, Jeffrey (Gayla) Guilbault and Elizabeth (Brad) Beckman, also her four grandchildren, Joshua, Lucas, Rachel and Adam, six sisters Eileen (Adrian) Kelly, Ruth (Lynn) Atkinson, Lyn (Arleigh) Halbert, Linda Bachynski, Betty (Don) Hutchinson, and Barb (Bill) Gerbrandt, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom will be remembered for her jovial spirit. She loved to laugh and you always knew where she was by her laugh. Her participation in her social group was a highlight of her weekends. She had a love for reading - especially mystery novels. Her love of animals was a very important factor in her life. She had such a sense of equality- both in humans and animals alike. Mostly she got joy from her family. Her sisters always looked up to their big sister with pride and respect. She absolutely adored her grandchildren. She was very proud of them and had a relationship with each that made them feel very special. A celebration of Mildred's life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our thanks to the numerous staff at the Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society PEACE Funeral Arrangements In Care Of: WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVENUE (AT BOND) 224-1525
