WILLIAM ATLEE (BUD) JAMES March 27, 1925 - November 12, 2009 Bud, beloved husband of Enid left us after a brief illness at St. Boniface Hospital, at 84 years of age. Dad was born at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. As a member of a railway family he grew up travelling across the prairies with the expansion of the Canadian Pacific Railway. As a young man he enlisted in the army at age 18 in 1943. Being medically discharged, he then joined the Canadian Pacific Railway as a Red Cap. Later becoming a brakeman, following his love for the railway. He ended his work career retiring from the Bank of Canada. Bud is survived by Enid, his wife of 64 years, his children Bill, Brian (Sandy) and Kathryn, grandchildren Lee James (Renee), Kristyn (Ryan) Goodman, Colin and Brett James, Stephanie, James, Angela and Darin Biyak; great-grandson Riley Goodman. Dad had a great love for his family and they were utmost in his life. The family cannot express the loss they are feeling today and in the years to come. Bud; dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, will be in our hearts always. Honorary pallbearers: Lee James, Kristyn Goodman, Colin James, Brett James, Stephanie Biyak, James Biyak, Angela Biyak, Darin Biyak and Riley Goodman. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy.
