DOREEN MARY MARCHUK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Mary Marchuk on November 11, 2009 at the age of 67 years. Remaining to forever cherish her memory is her husband of 46 years Gordon; three sons D'Arcy (Charlotte), Darryl (Tracy) and Jason (Deborah), 11 grandchildren; Victor, Raymond, Johnathan, Katrina, Kolton, Kelsie, Victoria, Sydney, Hannah, Steven and Erik, great-granddaughter Taylor; sister Dorothy (John) Gullie and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, her parents Victor and Catharine Courchene, sisters Gina, Annette, Colleen, Alfreida, Cathy and Linda. Doreen was born in St. Norbert, Manitoba on October 20, 1942, where she was raised with her father and seven sisters. Family had always been important to Doreen as well as politics and world events. She openly welcomed all the additions to her family and enjoyed being involved in her grandchildren's activities. She showed great strength and courage with her battles with various cancers, which she continued to carry through to her last days. A special thank you to mom's sister Dorothy for all her special care and compassion. A memorial service celebrating mom's life will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy.
