Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY BAYSAROWICH (Baziuk) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much loved Mother, Baba, and Great-Baba, Mary Baysarowich on November 13, 2009 at St Boniface Hospital at the age of 87. With her family at her side, mom peacefully left us to be with her creator. Mom was an active and vibrant woman with a strong determination. She took great pride in farming and looking after her garden. She constantly encouraged us to strive to achieve our goals. Mom's legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her children, Olga (Steve), MaryAnn (John), Audrey (Gilbert), Joy (Nick), Betty (Tom), Joan, Willy, Connie; 21 grand-children, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill; her parents, Wasyl and Anna; brothers, John, Mike, and Nick and sister Pearl; granddaughter Shirley, and her granddaughter's husband David. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home Cemetery, No.1 Hwy E. and Navin Road with funeral services on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Vita, MB., with Very Reverend Fr. Miren Pozniak officiating. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the care and compassion that Mom received from the doctor's and nursing staff at the St. Boniface Hospital, Vita Hospital, and Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in mom's name may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB. R3L 0K6.
