I will never forget my grandma, she was truly the light of my life and my inspiration. She had drive and determination but yet she had courage and silent strength. I always respected her as she was the strongest woman I have ever known. She has lived through and seen more in her lifetime then I can ever imagine, yet she came through it all with grace and a little stubborn tenacity, yet she was a true survivor. For those of you who really knew my Grandmother, no explanation is required. For those of you who did not, you missed out meeting a true survivor. My Grandma was kind, getter, loving snl compassionate, but she would always fight for her country and family. That was her legacy. I love her, miss her and wish she was still here, love you Grandma. - Posted by: Kendall (Granddaughter) on: Jan 21, 2013
