Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH RAMON BAHR After a lengthy illness Joseph Bahr, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009, at the age of 75 years. Joseph was born on March 8, 1934 in Regina, SK. At an early age the family moved to a farm at Arran, SK. He received his teaching certificate in Winnipeg and spent his early years of teaching in northern Manitoba. Later, he taught in various schools in Winnipeg and became involved in teaching drama. He also taught drama at Manitoba Theatre for Young People and had acting roles at Manitoba Theatre Centre and Warehouse Theatre. His nephews became the focus of his life after the untimely death of their mother, his adopted sister Delores, and he provided them with excellent care in their formative years. Joseph was predeceased by his parents Mabel and Walter Bahr and his adopted sister Delores. He is survived by one brother, Stephen (Betty), nephews Stephen (Kristen) and their children Zachary and Jessica, Jim from Prince Albert, and niece Valerie Bottyan (Brett) and their children Daniel, Nicholas and Jack from Vancouver, and nephews John and Joseph Addison. A private family memorial will take place on Saturday, November 21, at St. Gerard's Church, with interment of his ashes at Green Acres Cemetery.
