GORDON BARDARSON 1943 - 2009 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon, who left us at the age of 66 on November 13, 2009. He is survived by his loving soul mate Connie, children Trisha (Curtis), Nicole (Shane), Christopher (Jen), Erica (Christian); precious grandchildren Soren, Tyra and Brooke (Afi's Boo Bear); sister Dolores (Stebbi) Bjornson, nephew Jeff, nieces Tammy, Serena and their families; brother-in-law Grant (Gail) Swain, and sister-in-law Heather (Rene) Desautels and their children Joran and Makenna. He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Nellie Bardarson and two precious baby granddaughters Kiyanna and Kylee. Throughout his lengthy battle with cancer Gordie's love of life never faded. He was a dedicated Teacher, Mentor to many, and a friend to all. He never turned away a person in need... or a roll of duct tape. A jokester, daredevil, adventurer extrordinaire, loving and devoted husband, father and afi. A big thank you to Dr. Nason, Dr. Cooke and everyone at CancerCare. Donations can be made in Gordie's Memory to CancerCare Manitoba. Honorary pallbearers are Benny, Burt, Brian, Wayne, Shane, Curtis, Christian, Soren, Stebbi and Jeff. Celebration of life will be held on November 21 at the Arborg Hall at 2:30 p.m. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
