Beloved husband of 66 years to Della (nee Halicki). Loving father to Scarlet and Gerald Glovasky; Sandra and Ron Sauve; Nelson and MaryLee Dufour; and Judy and Bob Wilson. Dear son of the late Remi and Emma (nee Drouillard) and son-in-law of Adam and Catherine Halicki. Dear grandpa to Patti and husband Joe Fram, Gerry Glovasky, Katie and husband Tim Desjardins, Krysta and husband Jeff Ridsdale; Allyson and husband Rod Marentette, Anita and husband Travis Barnicoat, Aaron Sauve; Sean and wife Heather Dufour, Sonya Dufour; Rachel and husband Steve Kotyk; Matthew, and Jessica Wilson. Great-grandpa to Greg, Cassandra, Brooke, Kailyn, Devin, Krystal, Tyler, Cody, Brittany, Liam, Evan, Ethan, Naomi, Gavin, Kole, Olivia, and J.R. Dear brother to Anna Ducharme (Arsene), and the late Lorette Dupuis, Bella Morel, Lillian Bourque (Dufour), Neil Dufour, Cecile Gravel, Clarice Hennin, Evangeline Beaulieu, Zeta Ducharme, Dena Miller and Eugene Dufour. Dear brother-in-law of Laura Leonhardt, Phyllis and Al Shipman, Frances and Ken Emslie, Adam Halicki, all of Winnipeg, and predeceased by John, Mary, Nellie, Alphonse, Zigmund, Julie, Teddy (survived by Evelyn), Eleanor, and baby Victoria. Herby was a Ford retiree, and an active C.A.W. member who fought for worker's rights and the benefits we all enjoy today. He was also a Honorary Lifetime member of the Bishop Kidd Council 4924 Riverside Knights of Columbus. Visiting took place at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, Tecumseh, ON, 519-735-2830. A Mass of Christian Burial took place on November 18, 2009 at the Ste. Anne Church, Tecumseh and followed by a burial at Ste. Anne Cemetery. You may share a memory at www.marcottetecumseh.ca.
