NATHAN GUTKIN Died peacefully in his sleep on November 17, 2009 at the Sharon Home, one day before his 93rd birthday. Beloved husband of Shirley and loving father of Roberta (Jon) Fidler. Devoted grandfather of Eli (Mary) Fidler and Carly Fidler. Loving brother of the late Rose (Jack) Shannon, the late Max (Doris) Gutkin, Jack (Sheila) Gutkin and Eleanor (Ben) Marks. Graveside funeral will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Shiva private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sharon Home. A wonderful, kind and devoted person, he will be greatly missed. May his memory be a blessing for all.

I met Nathan in my youth while dating Roberta. He was a wonderful man; and when he came to Montreal on business, we went out to Moishes for dinner. I'd love to get in touch with Robbie again.
