Emily had various types of jobs over the years, but she was quite well known as being one of the friendliest sales clerks in Arborg. She retired from Arborg IGA in 1992. Emily was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion #161, the Legion Ladies Aid, Unitarian Ladies Aid and their church choir. But her greatest passion was music. She was a wonderful violinist and many good times were shared by all when The Gudmundson Sisters got together. She truly enjoyed entertaining with her sisters, as did we all. Emily's last couple of years were not the best for her or us and we will truly miss her. May you have peace at last. We will always love you, Mom. A memorial service will be held in her honour on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Arborg Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, if family or friends so desire, donations may be left to The Canadian Alzheimer Society. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
