ROBERT (BOB) WARREN ALLEN 1954 - 2009 Peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital Bob Allen aged 55 years of Winnipeg, MB passed away with his family by his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Morden, MB where he attended school. He later moved to La Salle, MB where he began his career as a peace officer. He worked for the Department of Infrastructure and Transportation for 30 years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed what he did. Bob was a great husband and father who took pride in his family. He always enjoyed spending time with them and going on outings. He also had a great love for cars. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 32 years, Marianne (nee Thiessen), his two sons, Robert Jr. and Christina, Jeremy and Debbie, grandson, Brayden and his mother, Lorraine (nee Morden) Allen McDonald. He will be sadly missed by his brother, Bill and Cheryle, his sister, Barb Lynch and his brother, Barry and Madelaine; as well as sisters-in-law, Elsie and Cornie, Agatha and Ed; brothers-in-law, Bill, Jake, Abe and Bonnie and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Allen in 1978 and brother-in-law, Brian Lynch in 2006. Cremation has taken place. Devotional will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, 353 Thornhill St. in Morden with ash interment at Hillside Cemetery at a later date. Dad, you left us too soon. You fought so hard but it was your time to go. You're not in pain anymore. You never complained and always worried about others. We will miss you and never forget you. We love you. Thank you to Dr. Oganranko, Dr. I. Maxwell, nurse, Astrid and all the nurses at Victoria Hospital and St. Boniface Palliative Care Ward.
