Harry passed away November 13, 2009 in Vancouver after a three year battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father, Charlie, his mother, Mary and his niece, Christianne. Harry will be forever missed by his family: Jane Belanger (Aimee, Tony, Cayde, Luca), Jim (Linda, Christopher), Virginia and the Tani family. He cherished his lifelong friendships with Rob, Randy and George. He also valued his relationships with Mitch, Lesia and his many friends at Kodak. Harry went to Elmwood High in Winnipeg, received a Diploma in Culinary Arts from VCC, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Simon Fraser University. Prior to working in the IT department at Kodak in Vancouver, Harry tended bar at Richards on Richards in the 1980s. In Winnipeg, he worked at Flyer Industries and at Canada Post. Harry will be remembered for his generosity, inquisitive mind, and vast store of eclectic knowledge. He had a great fondness for a good joke and was a passionate supporter of the Vancouver Canucks. The Omori family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital and the Marion Hospice for their compassionate care. Also, a note of gratitude to Susan Phillips for her steadfast support. Harry has been cremated, as he requested. A private service will take place in the summer at Stanley Park in Vancouver.
