HELEN DEWONCHUK Sadly we announce the passing of Helen Dewonchuk on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Concordia Hospital after a long and continuing battle with cancer. Helen was born in Winnipeg on August 12, 1935 to Anastasia and William Dewonchuk (both deceased). Helen is survived by her only sister and friend Joyce Mryglod, nephews, Glenn (Marlene) Mryglod and Glenn's children, Kayla and Mike Mryglod, all of Calgary and Rob Mryglod (Chris) and their children, Kaitlyn and Rachael of East Selkirk; all of whom she loved so greatly. Helen also cherished her many friendships, especially those with Wilma and Sandi of Winnipeg, as well as friends in Edmonton - especially longtime friend, Kitty who predeceased her. At Helen's request, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Flowers are respectfully declined and donations in her memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba at 675 McDermot Ave.
