She was predeceased by her siblings Roger, Cecile and Denis Turenne, and Juliette Lavergne. Reynalde was born on February 12, 1917 in St-Pierre-Jolys where she was raised. After marrying Edmond Dufresne, they lived in Ste-Anne-des-Chenes, then briefly in St-Pierre-Jolys until her mother's death, and finally settled in St. Boniface on Ritchot St. The family wishes to thank the staff of Foyer Valade for their kind and devoted care towards our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother during the past three years and especially during the last days of her life. In keeping with mother's wishes, cremation has taken place. A mass in celebration of her life will take place at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathedrale, at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2009. In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
