RALPH FRANKLIN HART On Sunday, November 22, 2009, Dad passed on to the Spirit World with his family by his side. Ralph leaves behind his beloved wife of 35 years, Eleanor, his children Steve, Shelly and Kevin and his most cherished gift, his granddaughter Ayden. He is survived by his sisters Audrey (Garnet), Frances (George), Sharon (Doug), brothers Ron (Barb), Alfred (Corrine), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ralph was predeceased by his loving parents Alfred and Mordina, his brother Irvin, brothers- in-law Larry, James and George, sister-in-law Jocelyn and nephews Irvin Jr., Jeremy and Earl, as well as his closest uncle and mentor Archie Budd. Ralph was born in Norway House, on April 25, 1950. As a young boy he learned a strong work ethic by working alongside his father as a Fisherman and Trapper. Most of his adult life was spent working for the Norway House Cree Nation. In this capacity he practiced honesty and integrity, never deviating from values and teachings. Dad was a talented guitar player and truly enjoyed his music and also had a witty sense of humour. His children will remember him as a dedicated and loving father who encouraged and supported them in their daily lives. We would like to thank Wendy and the rest of the nursing staff as well as the spiritual support at Concordia Hospital. A wake will be held at our family home in Norway House Wednesday and Thursday, November 25 and 26, 2009. Funeral Services and Christian burial held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, Friday November 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Care Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Arrangements care of Boardman Northland Services, Thompson MB. 1-800-461-6876 and Mosaic Funeral Cremation and Cemetery Services. Life's work well done Dad.
