DARRELL WAYNE LOUGH 1962 - 2009 Peacefully, after a courageous but brief battle with cancer, with his wife and mother at his side, Darrell passed away on Friday, November 20 at the age of 47 years. Remaining to forever cherish Darrell's memory are his wife Heather; stepson Robert Peloski (fiancée Tiffany Collingridge); stepdaughter Laura Peloski; mother Verna; brothers, Gary (Lisa and family), Brent and his sister Colleen Smith (Craig and family) as well as many other relatives, friends and his beloved dog Shenzi. He was predeceased by his father Earl. Darrell was one of those big fun loving (St. James) guys with lots of friends to which he shared many memorable adventures. In his youth he played in various sports and enjoyed many family camping trips. He worked at various jobs spending his last 11 years at the Airport Motor Inn as a front desk clerk/vendor sales. He enjoyed the simple things in life, redecorating his home, puttering in the yard with his pond and flowers. Darrell also took great pride in decorating the yard for Halloween and Christmas. A celebration of Darrell's life for relatives and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Airport Motor Inn (Connie Room), 1800 Ellice Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Darrell's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or a charity of your choice.
