AGNES GRACE McRITCHIE On November 5, 2009 Agnes Grace McRitchie of Sherwood Park, formerly of 387 Duffield St., Winnipeg, passed away peacefully at the age of 86. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Jim. Agnes was born on December 5, 1922 in Faulkner, Manitoba. She attended Lord Roberts and Kelvin High School after moving to Winnipeg as a child. She worked for Dominion (Manitoba) Bridge for many years until her retirement and was a longtime member of Streamliners. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kathy Tomes and her three granddaughters, Nicole, Heidi and Robyn Tomes, as well as her sisters, Julia (Ali) Crumb, Jean (Eric) Roy, sister-in-law Peggy Haynes, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Andy McWilliams and her sisters, Kay Lawson, Mary Watson, and Bella Coombe. The family wishes to send their heartfelt appreciation for the kindness, care and support shown by all the staff at the Sherwood Park Care Centre. Lastly a special thanks to everyone who has shared in Agnes' life: we know she enriched so many people's lives and she in turn was so blessed to have so many wonderful people enrich hers. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment and reception to follow.
