Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPHINE LACHOWSKI (nee HERDA) Josephine Lachowski, aged 87 years of Brokenhead, MB., beloved wife of the late Albert Lachowski, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Beausejour Hospital. She is survived by stepdaughters Adele (Garnet) Weedmark, Diane (Albert) Bangert and Elaine (Wally) Smith; one step granddaughter and six stepgrandsons, 11 step great-grandchildren; sister Sophie and sisters-in-law Lily and Mary as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Lachowski on August 17, 1989, stepson Allan Lachowski on July 18, 2003, step great-granddaughter Hannah in 1999; brothers Mike (Ann), William, Stanley, John; sister Mary; parents Joseph and Antonina Herda. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow in the Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ladywood. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Josephine's memory may be made to the St. Mary Building Fund.
