Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) STUPPARD On November 24, 2009, Robert passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Center. Born in Winnipeg on April 24, 1929, he was predeceased by his mother Carrie Stuppard (nee Munshaw), brother Donald Stuppard (Irene) and brother-in-law Peter Michael Jackin. He is survived by his sister Norma Jackin (B.C.), nieces Lynda Morley (Jim), Judi Peterson (Steven), Taylor, Tannis and Kate, nephews Colin Jackin, Trevor and Colin Gray and Bradley as well as cousins Sandra and Jack Koch and Terry Kasian. Bob worked for 37 years as a draftsman in the Manitoba Highway Engineering Department where he earned many awards of distinction. He was a lifelong member of Westminster United Church, a member of the Winnipeg Flying Club and the Delta Kappa Fraternity. Many happy years were spent at the family cottage on Lake Winnipeg. His longtime friends Verna and Linn Johnston played a meaningful role in our family. Uncle Bob will always have a special place in our hearts. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Saturday, December 5 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Campbell to officiate. Many thanks to the staff at Poseidon Personal Care Home and later at the Riverview Health Center for their support over the years. As we now celebrate Bob's life, May he rest in peace.
