ELSIE MARGARET KURZ (nee BRIX) Peacefully with family by her side, Mom passed away at age 90, on Monday, November 30, 2009. Elsie is survived by her two sons: Robert (Marianne), and Brian (Lauretta), and her grandchildren: Michael, David, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Carlie, and Christie. She was predeceased by her husband Arwin in 2001. Elsie was born, raised and lived all her life in Winnipeg, and enjoyed her hobbies of sewing, gardening, and reading. Special thanks to the staff and her friends at Donwood Manor where Mom resided for the past few years, and to the staff at Concordia Hospital on 3 West for the care and compassion that they gave Mom during these past few weeks. Mom will be sadly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. At Mom's request, a private family funeral will be held.
