MARY FRENCH Ghi-zhi-ba-a-sheek Flying Around in a Circle Sky Woman Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 30, 2009, Mary French of Swan Lake First Nation, passed on to the Spirit World at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Alice McKinney, Alvina (Dennis) Scott, Florence (Kelly) Scott, Kathy Walker, Tom (Linda) Walker, Judy (James) Steele, Brian (Angie) Walker, Carolyn Sjostrom and Shelley (Kevin) Hume; one brother: Simon French and one sister: Gladys Shannacappo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and special friends: Gloria Johnson and Daisy Hobson. Mary was predeceased by her parents: Jim and Maizie French; two sons: Edward and Tony Walker; one daughter: Agnes Foland; one brother: Archie French and by two sisters: Alice Scott and Bertha Walker. A Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Indian Springs Cemetery.
