YUTTA FRIESEN Peacefully, on December 1, 2009 Yutta Friesen, aged 85, passed away at Misericordia Health Centre with her family at her side. Yutta will be loved forever and deeply missed by her sister, Helen Paetkau, her sister-in-law, Helen Friesen, her nieces, Marlene Kerr (Gordon), Irene Paetkau, Elsie Feriolo (Frank), Ingrid Friesen (John), and great (and great-great) nephews and nieces. Yutta will be lovingly remembered as Ata , a special third grandmother to her great-nephew and nieces, Danny (Kate), Carolyn, Kimberly and Kathryn, and as Tata to great-great-niece, Jazzlyn. Yutta was predeceased by her parents Heinrich and Helene (nee Paetkau), her brothers David and Willie, and by her nephew John. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Ave., with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Thanks to Dr. Doermer, for his care over the years. Special thanks to the staff of Cornish 5 for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
