DAVID FRIESEN 1913 - 2009 On Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, David Friesen aged 96 years of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Judy and Charles Zarinits of Apple Valley, CA; two sons, Percy and Flo of Calgary, AB, Gerry and Cathy of Plum Coulee; one daughter-in-law, Judy (Bob) Friesen of Calgary, AB; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by first wife, Justina (nee Dyck) in 1955; second wife, Mary (nee Hildebrand) in 1979 and third wife, Eva (nee Bergman) in 2008; two sons, Rodney in 1967 and Bob in 2007. Viewing will be on Friday (today) from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Plum Coulee Bergthaler Mennonite Church with interment to follow at the Plum Coulee Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in David's memory to the Plum Coulee Bergthaler Mennonite Church, available at the service.
