IRENE MARY SEYMOUR It is with deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of our dearly beloved wife and mother, Irene Seymour on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Pinawa General Hospital. Irene is survived by her husband Elmer of 50 years, sons Robert (Alison) and Allan, daughters Judy, Yvonne (Clarence), Brenda, Charlene (Bryan) and Audrey (John), 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Irene also leaves to mourn her brother Jim (Bertha), sister Florence, many nephews, nieces and special goddaughter Kateri. Irene was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Hildur Mercer, brothers Lawrence, Raymond, Arthur, Richard and Charles and sisters Violet and Margaret. Irene loved to play cards with her family. Each evening Mom always made sure her children were there for a game. Wake services will be held in the Seymourville Hall on Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ in Hollow Water on Monday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Augustine presiding. Interment will follow in the Seymourville Community Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons Justin, Bryan, Aubrey, Travis and Trenton, sons in-law Clarence, John and Bryan. Honourary pallbearers will be longtime friends Zub, Sandra, Bjork and Auntie Florence. The family wishes to thank the staff at Pinawa General Hospital for their kindness and care. To Mom You will never be forgotten; we loved you to the end. You have always been there for us, through the good times and bad. Now the day has come for us to say goodbye, It's going to be so hard no matter how much we try. We know you are in a better place, no more suffering or pain.
