HELEN KATHLEEN PELISSIER (nee Fraser) August 29, 1925 - December 6, 2009 On November 9, 1957, Alfred Robert Pelissier and Helen Kathleen Fraser were joined by God as husband and wife. On July 25, 1999 they were separated when Fred died cradled in her loving arms. Now God has united them again, forever! After a fulfilling career as a nurse, Helen happily dedicated the remainder of her life to her husband and raising her daughter and three sons. They were her pride and joy. Rosalie and Nick; (Janice, Ken, Shelby and Logan; Dwayne, Janet, Hannah and Zachary), Paul, Kim and Megan; David and Lori and Marc will always remember her as loving, generous, courageous and selfless. We will remember her fresh baked bread and amazing creations that came from her sewing machine; her love of nature, her genuine interest and concern for people and the world around her. Even in the midst of pain and infirmity she always had a ready smile and a Thanks for even the smallest thing done for her. She never prayed for a miracle to cure' her instead she prayed for the strength to endure. Her faith sustained her. To know her was to love her. Our heartfelt thanks to the nuns at St. Benedict's Monastery and the residents of St. Benedict's Place for the love, support and friendship you gave her. Also, thank you, to the nurses and support staff at N3 West at Concordia Hospital for the excellent care. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St., West St. Paul, on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. As per the wishes of the deceased there will be no reception.
