ANNIE MAY YESTRAU (nee Walpole) 1919 - 2009 After a long, fully lived life, our dear Mom passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on December 4, 2009. She was surrounded by the love of her family throughout her life, and, in her final hours. Mom celebrated her 90th birthday on November 19, 2009, and as you can see in the attached picture, in a typically joyous way!! Mom (Annie) was born in Winnipeg on November 19, 1919. She lived her entire life in the Rosewood district. She is survived by her three children, Campbell (Denise), Carole (Norval), Carl (Yvette), as well as seven grandchildren, Lisa (Rick), John, Mark, Melanie (Lance), Greg, Carl Jr. (Julianne), Melisa (Dave), as well as four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ella, Evan and Mila, and her Favourite and only brother, Reg. Mom was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 1984, her parents Reg and Kate, and her siblings Betty and Grace. Mom's caring ways and her incredible energy affected everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom's generous spirit can be made to a charity of your good choice. A service honouring Mom will be held at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfield Dr., Steinbach, MB on Wednesday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m.
