Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE TATARYN May 28, 1921 - December 4, 2009) Peacefully in the early morning hour, Katherine passed away at Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall. Surviving Katherine is her husband of 61 years, Harry Tataryn; sons John Tataryn (Kathleen), Robert Tataryn (Suzanne); grandsons Christopher, Kevin, Jason and Kelly; brothers Walter and Metro; sisters Helen and Sonya, along with sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary; brothers Pete, Mike, Morris, Bill and sisters Ann, Lena and Olga. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev Leonard Oracheski will officiate. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rosewood Lodge or a charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank the staff of the Rosewood Lodge for the wonderful care, attention and kindness they extended to Katherine. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.

I remember my father having kind words when I showed him Katherine's death notice many years ago - just wanted to say I wished I met her. I have many fond memories of Lena and can only imagine she must have been a very nice woman too. - Posted by: James Lucyk (Walter's youngest son) on: May 14, 2019
