EVA KRENN November 11, 1925 – September 9, 2007 It is with the greatest sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Eva Krenn at the age of 81 years. Eva was predeceased by her husband John of 46 years in 1993, and her son Dennis in 1994. Eva leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Marlene (Sheldon), granddaughter Lisa (Rod), grandson Paul (Jenn), great-grandchildren, (Seona, Matthew and Michael), her sister Anne, as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The highlight of Eva’s life was her family. She was affectionately known as ”Cookie Grandma” by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren because of the endless supply of goodies that she always had on hand. Eva loved being at home, sipping her tea, and watching the Blue Jays on TV. In summer you could always find her in her garden, and in the winter, shovelling snow at first snowfall. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their kind hearts and gentle care of Eva. A special thank you is extended to Barb and Jean for their years of compassionate care, devotion and friendship. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007, at 1:30 p.m., at Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eva’s memory to Bethania PCH, 1045 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S7.
