ELIN (ELLA) GOODMAN (nee Johnson) March 8, 1934 - December 5, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Amma, sister and aunt on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are: daughters Marie (Ron) and Jo-Anne (Jim); grandchildren Danielle (Shane), Jared and Shawn (Donalyn Mae); great-grandchildren Gage, Colton and Paige; sister Lena (Les) and brothers Johnny (June) and Stan (Millie); son-in-law Danny, pets Riley, Smokey, and Poncho, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and very dear friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Ed and brothers Steve and Mundy. Family was very important to Mom and family always came first. You could count on Mom to be there for you, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always put others needs before her own. Mom was one of a kind. Those that knew her, also knew that she could be feisty and ornery. And she was, right to the very end. Mom was an amazing, wonderful person who accepted everyone as they were. Ella's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion throughout her journey. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 10, at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba. Until we meet again, rest in peace. We will love you forever and always.
