MARCEL HUPE October 1, 1923 December 3, 2009 It is with sadness that we announce the quiet passing of Marcel on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Ste. Anne Hospital at the age of 86. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Aurore; his two children, Diane Laurin (Armand) and Roger (Gisèle); four grand-children, Donald Laurin (Kaydon and Tyler); Michelle (Cory) Usipiuk (Sydney and Alec); Danielle (Tom) Morriseau (Danika) and Patrick; as well as brothers, Denis, Florent (Thérèse) and Fernand (Juliette); sister Edmonde (Louis); sister-in-law Hélène; brothers-in-law, Oram (Verna), Aurèle (Marie Anna), Emile (Emma), Norman (Mary), Roger (Denise), Marcel Audette, René (Dea) and Paul; sisters-in-law, Rhéa (Len) and Evelyn (Florent) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edmond and Josette; sister, Marguerite (Marcien) Harrison and brother, Lionel; his parents-in-law, Paul and Diana Proulx; in-laws, Horace (Annette) and Yvonne Audette. Marcel was devoted to his family. He worked for Lount Construction for 26 years, retiring in 1986. After his retirement, Marcel took care of the farm, as he called it, very well. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Ste. Anne Hospital and also Marlee Chancy, Dr. Zacharias, Hélène Dusablon and Anne Plett. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Ste. Anne Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
