Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD TOMSIC Surrounded by love, on Monday, December 7, 2009 Leonard Tomsic went home to be with his beloved Jesus. Leonard was born in Winnipeg on December 28, 1943. He was predeceased by his father, mother, sister Shirley (Watt) and sister-in-law Sandra (Tomsic). He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Lydia and Marlene (Spencer), brothers Jerry, Murray (Darlene) and Nelson, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Leonard was a devout believer and loved God. His love of life included music, dancing, sports, especially those Bombers, and the outdoors. He loved his jobs at Western Rawhide and Versatech, and his early years beekeeping with his father. Thanks go to L'Arche for the many kindnesses they showed Leonard during his brief two and a half year stay with them. Thanks also to TSEN for their encouragement and support. A memorial service honouring Leonard's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint).
