Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA CHYZZY (nee GULAY) Surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 6, 2009, Olga passed away at Oakview Place. Olga will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Valerie, Marlene, Lorraine, Audrey, son Robert, grandchildren; Donovin (Amy), Dustin, Steven, Joy and great-granddaughter, Sage Love, also extended family, Ben, Edna and families. She valued her family and lifelong friends in Arborg. Olga was predeceased by her husband Thomas. Olga was a Second World War veteran, in which her job entitled, many stories of being an ambulance driver. Upon her return she became a hairdresser, a skill she was very proud of. Mom took great pride in her huge garden in Arborg. Visitors that came usually left with fresh produce. She also enjoyed ceramics and outdoor activities. Mom will be greatly remembered by all her hand made knitting and afghans. Family members will cherish her beautiful workmanship. Olga delighted in decorating the yard at Christmas in Arborg, which provided everyone with the Christmas spirit. Once mom moved to Winnipeg she joined the Red Hats. Mom loved to travel and fond memories will be treasured of vacations with daughters and grandchildren. Throughout mom's recent illness she still found time for a joke or two with the hospital staff. The family wishes to thank, for their kindness and care, the staff at Victoria Hospital, HSC (H6), Riverview, St. Boniface Hospital (4E), Oakview (3E). In accordance with Olga's wishes, her body is bequeathed to the University of Manitoba, Human Anatomy. There will be a private family memorial. Olga will be sadly missed by her family, Her spirit will be with us always. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
