HELEN LEMECHA June 20, 1938 - December 6, 2009 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Helen Jean Lemecha at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 71 years. Helen was predeceased by husband Jerry Lemecha in 1989, and son David Sauve in 2008. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her very dear friend Joe Goodman, her sons Sheldon Sauve (Marlene) and Leonard Sauve, and her step-daughters Linda, Caroline, Donna, Debbie, and Sharon. Helen was a people person who was full of life and who loved to laugh. For years she was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Monte Cassino Branch #178) where she enjoyed playing Bingo and socializing with her long-time companion Joe. Helen was an avid reader and a keen follower of her daytime soaps. She was a generous and giving person who was always willing to help those in need. Helen will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 10, at 11:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1142 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's name to a charity of your choice. 586-8044
