DARCIE ANNETTE SLAA November 23, 1987 - December 4, 2009 GAVIN JESSE NORDEMAN September 21, 1987 - December 4, 2009 The LORD in His infinite wisdom took home His children Darcie and Gavin. Their lives on this earth ended tragically in an automobile accident in Owen Sound, ON. They lived their 22 years in God's service and have now received their eternal crowns of Glory. They were engaged to be married in August of 2010. Darcie will be lovingly remembered by her parents Henry and Judy Slaa of Winnipeg, MB, five siblings, Crystal (Philip), Sheldon, Erin, Tyson and Riley, her grandparents Henry and Frances Slaa and Terry and Anna Veenendaal, her little niece Lyra and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Darcie was predeceased by her grandmother Sue Veenendaal in 1997. Gavin will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Gary and Natalie Nordeman of Owen Sound and eight siblings, Alisha, Mehgan, Shane, Joshua, Matthew, Jamie, Jacob and Michael, his grandparents, Gerard and Johanna Nordeman and Harry and Grace Sloots both of Burlington, ON, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Gavin was predeceased by his grandmother Theresa Gellenthin in 1984. Opportunity for visiting will be given on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Owen Sound Canadian Reformed Church at Mennonite Corners. The funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound, ON.
