Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE FLORENCE ALLEN MCDONALD (nee Morden) 1922 - 2009 On Sunday December 6, 2009 at Tabor Home in Morden, MB, Lorraine McDonald, aged 87 years, went to her eternal rest. Lorraine was employed for over 30 years until her retirement by the Government of Manitoba as a county court clerk and magistrate. She was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Morden Branch #11 and served as President for the province. She was also fervently involved with the Legion Athletic Camp at the International Peace Gardens. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Barb (Brian) Lynch of Winnipeg; three sons, Bill and Cheryle Allen of Rock Lake, Barry and Madeline Allen of Winnipeg; daughter-in-law, Marianne (Bob) Allen of Winnipeg as well as eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two sisters. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Allen in 1978, second husband, Judge Bruce McDonald in 2005; son-in-law, Brian Lynch in 2006 and most recently her son, Bob Allen two weeks prior on November 18. She was also predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. A private family committal will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Hillside Cemetery in Morden, MB. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lorraine's memory to either the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or to Tabor Home Memorial Fund.
