MIRIAM BEATRICE SMITH (nee PILOWSKI) Suddenly on December 3, 2009, Miriam passed away at her residence at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her former husband, Alexander Pilowski; son, Bruce Pilowski-Parker; and her dearest friend, Frank Buzz Knight of Winnipeg; brother, Bob, and sister, Eileen of England. Miriam will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Mourning her passing are brothers, Bill (Sylvia), Gordon, Brian (Sheila) and sister-in-law, Phylis of England; sister-in-law Betty, nephews, William Robert (Irene) and Tony, of Winnipeg; great-niece and nephew, Barbara Ann (Robert) Robles of San Antonio and Reid of Winnipeg; nephew Wayne of Kitchener, Ontario. A celebration of Miriam's life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 12 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith Street, with the Rev. Fr. Henry Falconer officiating. The service will be followed by a reception in the church.
