GUDRUN MARGARET (PEGGY) HIEBERT (nee FRASER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother and sister on December 8, 2009 at the age of 82 years, at the Riverview Health Centre. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, William (Bill); their children, Linda (Wayne) L'Esperance, John (Leanne) Hiebert, Sandra (Reynold) Loewen, Kim (Tom) Ploquin; nine grandchildren, Christine (Gerry), Virginia (Wesley), Kaylee, Sean, Brian, Adam, Nicolas, Robyn and Danielle; sisters, Sally (Glen) Rycroft, Nora (Alvin) Scherger, William (Diane) Fraser and Helen Fehr and family. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hiebert, Dr. Garcia and the wonderful staff of 3E Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion during Mom's short stay. Our gratitude also goes to Dr. Lu and Dr. Harris as well as her many homecare providers which enabled her to stay at home as long as possible. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
