Gordon is survived by his three sons; John Alexander (Sherry), David Gordon and Scott Edwin (Stephanie); four grandchildren, Chantal, Hayley, Jaidon, Lochlan and number five is on the way. Also left to mourn Gordon's passing is a very special niece Heather Andrews (Chuck) who was always close to Gordon's side, even from a distance, as well as many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Christina and Lochlan, and many siblings and their spouses. Born and raised in Glace Bay, Cape Breton Gordon always enjoyed his travels and seeing new places. He was an avid reader, always a book close by. He took great pride in his artistic flare and has paintings which hang in many homes across the country. Gordon lived by an expression of never stay at any one thing for more than four years, as you will become stale. He had a very dry and unique sense of humor which was appreciated by many. He expressed on many occasion that the greatest accomplishment in his life was the creation of his three sons. He loved them dearly and was very proud of them. Regardless of their actions, good or bad, his expression remained the same, Boys Will Be Boys . In compliance with Gordon's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family service will take place at a later date and Gordon shall return and rest with his parents in Glace Bay, Cape Breton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
