DR. ROBERT ARTHUR MADILL (1922 - 2009) Surrounded by his family, Robert passed away peacefully in Prince George, BC after a lengthy illness. He is predeceased by sister Edith (Murray) Johnson of Winnipeg . He is survived by brother Ernest (Kay) Madill of Teulon, Manitoba; his loving wife, Irene; his four children, Jim (Louise), Bob, Rene, Paul (Corinne); his six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Teulon, Manitoba, Robert later joined the 18th Armoured Car Regiment of the XII Manitoba Dragoons. He was shipped overseas for duty and was severely wounded in action. He spent nearly one year on the Burn Ward of Christy Street Hospital in Toronto, and after recovering, he enrolled in the Canadian Chiropractic College. He married Irene Fisher on graduation day, and they moved to Vancouver. They later moved to Prince George where he became the town's first chiropractor. His son, Jim took over the business in 1967. Robert was an active member of the community and was well loved by all who knew him.
